Side Saddle Hire 2022
We have a small selection of junior side saddles available for hire for showing on a seasonal basis from 1st March to 1st October (i.e. no hunting). All terms and conditions are listed in the contract below. If you are interested in hiring a side saddle, please contact Julie Brindley on 087 2803990 via text/ whatsapp and she will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that we no longer hire out adult/ horse side saddles.
Hire saddles
From 2018 onward, we are no longer in a position to rent out adult side saddles. A small selection of pony saddles for junior members are available to hire from March to September of each year. Please phone Julie Brindley on 0872803990 if you wish to discuss further.
2017 Side Saddle Hire
Saddles must be returned or renewed
Dear members, please be advised that you must return your rental side saddle (and habit if you have hired one) no later than the 30th of September as there are a queue of ladies wanting to hire a saddle for the winter season which begins on the 1st of October. Winter Saddle Hire
Winter Saddle Hire officially begins from 1st of October 2016 however there are already a number of saddles available for hire that have come back after the showing season. Please download and print out the contract below and phone Julie Brindley on 0872803990 if you would like to arrange a fitting to hire a side saddle.

Winter Saddle Hire
Dear Members, please note that Winter hire saddles must either be returned or renewed prior to the 1st of April 2016. Please drop Julie a note on honsec@ssaireland.com to let her know whether you will be renewing your saddle for the showing season or leaving it back, as we would like to be able to make a list of what is coming back so that we can match up ladies and saddles. There are currently no adult sized saddles left in the tack room but there are some nice junior saddles available. Thank you!
Side saddle hire now open
We have decided to open the Summer side saddle hiring season very early this year, so saddles are now available to rent to members for the upcoming showing season. There are also a limited number of habits available to rent. We are always looking for new members and more support for side saddle showing classes. Please phone Julie Brindley without delay on 0872803990 in order to organise a saddle fitting if you would like to hire. Membership forms and saddle hire forms are available on www.ssaireland.com, please include a large stamped addressed envelope with your membership form and ensure that you have the correct insurance cover arranged for hiring the saddle (Julie will advise).
Summer 2016 Side Saddle hire now available
If you would like to hire a sidesaddle for the upcoming showing season then please be aware that it can be hired from now onwards, (this is two months earlier than normal). Saddles are only hired out to fully paid up members.
